Museum Quarter is the area between the Van Baerlestraat, Museum Square, Stadhouderskade and Vossiusstraat. The area is home to the three most important museums in the Netherlands: the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum. It also houses the majestic Concertgebouw, cafés, restaurants and hotels. In the P.C. Hooftstraat and Van Baerlestraat the world’s most exclusive fashion, jewellery and other luxury brands are found. The area cooperates in a BIZ (business improvement zone) in which all 270 entrepreneurs are represented.
