Karlijn knows every dish inside out. She is the operations manager for all The Seafood Bar restaurants.
‘Our first restaurant, at the Van Baerlestraat, is where it all started. The funny thing is, it didn’t even start as a restaurant. We started as a shop with a couple of tables. But then people started queuing for the tables asking for wine and table service. This led to a lot of dirty dishes, which resulted in the need for dishwashers, bartenders and so on. That’s how the concept became what it is today.’

When I have dinner with friends, I always order the King Crab. It’s a great dish to share and it is soooo good.
FRUITS DE MER
This one is also perfect for sharing, there is a lot to choose for everyone and is very Instagram proof :)
A lot of people come here especially for the oysters. We have 5 different types, some are seasonal.
This is a great starter. Or combine it with a salad as a main course.
MIXED GRILL PLATTER
All grilled (shell) fish like scampi, squid, prawns & lobster. Also great to share. Or keep it all for yourself ;-).
